Information Resources Specialist Humboldt
Supervised by the Library Dean, with day-to-day activities overseen by the faculty lead for Access Services and Information Resource Management, the Information Resource Specialist position is responsible for processing physical materials, including receipt, check-in, shelf preparation, and claiming; copy cataloging print and electronic titles; stacks maintenance coordination; preparing materials for commercial binding or microfilming; and homebinding and mending of materials. The position coordinates student hiring, onboarding, training, and supervision. The position provides backup support for monographic acquisitions, including ordering, purchase ordering, and invoicing, in coordination with the Acquisitions Specialist.
Children's Center Teacher Humboldt
Cal Poly Humboldt's Children's Center is an accredited, grant-funded and state-funded child development program which provides quality child development services for students, staff and faculty of Cal Poly Humboldt. Staffing includes 11 professional employees and approximately 65 student employees. During the academic year the program serves approximately 100 families, with approximately 60 families being served during the summer months. In support of Cal Poly Humboldt's academic mission and focus, the Children's Center serves as an observation and training facility for students pursuing academic credit and professional credentialing. The Children's Center teacher is responsible for the successful operation of one toddler or pre-school classroom for children ages 3 months - 5 years and works a full 12 month schedule. This position works collaboratively with other Children's Center staff and is under the direct lead of the Assistant Director and Director of the Children Center. Teachers may be responsible for providing obversight (supervision) to 10 - 15 Student Assistants. This area falls under the administrative leadership of the Executive Director of Auxiliary Operations.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the 2022 Annual Security Report (ASR) is now available for viewing at https://clery.humboldt.edu/sites/default/files/cal_poly_humboldt_2022_annual_security_report.pdf. The ASR contains the current security and safety-related policy statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and information about drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains statistics of Clery crimes for Cal Poly Humboldt for 2019, 2020, and 2021.
