| The Accessibility Advisor provides students with disabilities equal access toward academic success and to equip the campus community (professors, deans, administrators, and campus departments, housing, registrar's office, etc.) with recommendations in administering legally mandated accommodations appropriate to section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the ADAAA guidelines. The position will determine program eligibility and provide disability counseling, collaborate with campus academic advisors, advocacy and appropriate accommodations. This role will collaborate with faculty and present best practices for universal design in order to ensure equal access and legally mandated accommodations. |
