Lecturer - SLP 482: Audiology and Aural (Re)Habilitation (Fall 2025) San Marcos
The Department of Speech-Language Pathology at California State University San Marcos seeks a part­ time Lecturer for the for Fall 2025 to teach SLP 482: Audiology and Aural (Re)Habilitation. Reviews the anatomy of the auditory and vestibular systems and explores peripheral and central disorders which can affect hearing and balance. Teaches classification of hearing disorders by etiology, location within the auditory systems, and effect on communication. Investigates the current assessments available to evaluate hearing and balance and the results provided by the assessments. Trains students to administer an appropriate hearing screening protocol. Explores intervention methods for developing and maintaining communication with patients with hearing loss.
Physician - Primary Care (11/12) East Bay
This position is an integral part of the Student Health & Counseling Services (SHCS). The Physician participates in the daily operational and practical needs of SHCS, primarily performs medical diagnostic and treatment activities, and participates in practitioner peer review staff educational and administrative meetings, as needed. This position will also assist SHCS with its on-going preparation for re-accreditation and HIPAA compliance as well as provide health education and participate in teaching activities.
Title IX & DHR Case and Hearing Coordinator (Administrator I) - Equity Programs & Compliance San Francisco
The Title IX & DHR Case and Hearing Coordinator (Case Coordinator) will serve a critical support role within the Equity programs and Compliance office (EPC). This role reports directly to the Assistant Vice President for Title IX and DHR (AVP). The Case Coordinator will serve as a primary point of contact for individuals reporting misconduct to EPC and will assist those individuals in connect with support systems within the university and local community. The incumbent for this role must be able to interact with individuals who have suffered difficult and traumatic experience with empathy and a human-centered approach.
