Social Sciences - Full-time Lecturer in the Social Sciences Department, College of Liberal Arts, Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, California to begin September 11, 2025. Recruitment is for one position, with a one-year appointment for the 2025-26 Academic Year, with the potential to renew for a second year. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. An MA in sociology or a closely related field and a successful teaching record are required. ABD or PhD in sociology or closely related field is preferred.  Primary duties and responsibilities include teaching classes in social change, social movements, international political economy, criminology, and/or family and the life course. The teaching load is 3-4 four-unit courses per quarter for a total of 45 total units across the 2025-26 academic year.
